Ah the Jackalwere, the mostly forgotten but just as dope kin to the werejackal. In D&D parlance the Jackalwere is a creature type known as an antherion, which is the opposite of a therianthrope. Instead of a human that turns into a jackal these are jackals that can take on human form.
What an amazing concept! In earlier editions they were in esteemed company along with wolfwere and thee coyotlwere! In 5e however, they stand alone and have been reduced to nothing but servants of the Lamia which we covered in episode 73!
